On June 2nd I leave for Mexico, and I am so excited. I am still currently raising monthly financial support, but I am taking this step of faith in trusting that the Lord (Jehovah-Jireh) will provide.
I will be returning to Mexico City for a week to spend with one of my best friends, Alicia. Even though I have only known Alicia for a little over 2 years, she knows me better than anybody. I love her sincerity, her transparency, and her heart that longs after Jesus. The Lord has blessed me tremendously with our friendship and I am so excited to spend this time with her to learn and grow.
After that week in Mexico City I will return to Guadalajara. We will have various team meetings that first week that I am back. I am so excited to get back to the orphanage (Fundación Emmanuel).
I cannot wait to see all of my kids. Emmanuel, Esperanza, Marcos, Nataly, Alondra, Linda, Julissa, Marisol and all of the other kids. More than anything I am excited for the hugs, the smiles, the laughter. I pray that God's love, truth, and grace would overflow in my kids' hearts.
