The directors of an orphanage (Ministerios de Amor) have asked us to start giving Bible Studies on Friday mornings. So we have split up the kids into two groups. Darren + Justin will work with the 8 older boys. Lorena + I will work with the 8 younger boys (8-10yrs old).
Lorena and I have been working the past few weeks on putting together materials and folders for our 8 boys. We are so excited! The Bible Study will be based on the following topics: God is faithful. God is living. God is love. Witnesses with our words, actions & our work. The Great Comission. We all need the Bible. The Bible is the inspired word of God. The Bible is a library. The book of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.

RESUMEN DE CASO (CASE STUDY):
The directors at Ministerios de Amor have also given us the responsibility of putting together case studies of each of the kids. We are currently working through all of their paperwork and organizing it. We then talk through it as a team and write up a summary and a proposal of how to work with and follow up with each child according to his situation.
This is great practice for us because we will need to do this with all of our kids at our orphanage.

CUIDARTE A.C.
We are also taking a class through a non-profit called CUIDARTE A.C. They are teaching us how to teach children about their own rights. We have been given materials and are now going to various schools/orphanages to put the activities into practice.
MEETINGS AT KAMAMI
We are also having meetings at a girl's orphanage (Kamami) once every couple weeks. We talk for a good 2 hours with the director of the orphanage. We have talked about various topics such as health, school, etc. This is a great opportunity to learn from this girl's orphanage through their mistakes and successes.
